I like your tip to have your boiler and heating system checked out by a contractor before the winter comes. My husband and I are installing a new heating system soon and we were wondering the best ways to take care of it, especially in colder weather. So we'll be sure to always have it and the furnace examined by a licensed contractor before winter hits.

It is probably a good idea to get some extra insulation to guard against ice dams. Winter is coming here in Utah and I have been thinking about beefing up our insulation and generators so that we can stay nice and warm. It would be awful to pass through the winter freezing.
