In the winter season the roads are generally frozen. They are covered with snow and ice. So driver faces difficulties in driving in the snowy road. It is suggested to use winter tires which provide better grip on the snowy road surface. Drivers are advised to drive slowly. We should clear the snow and ice from windows, lights, mirrors, reflectors, hood and trunk. We must avoid using cruise control in the snowy or icy conditions. Lastly we must keep a winter survival kit in our car which contains an ice scraper, snow shovel and sand/salt.
